Lough Key House is a small but beautiful 200 year old Georgian Period house in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. It is run by Frances McDonagh who offers six bedrooms to warmly welcome guests.
All rooms are individually decorated and furnished with period furniture. The three front bedrooms each have their own almost luxurious bathroom with separate bath and power shower, while the three back rooms have power showers only.
Check-in time is from 5pm at which time Afternoon tea is served in the sitting room. A bright open fire welcomes guests. Relax here with lots of books, board games, flat screen TV, and a piano. A laptop with wireless access sits on the writing desk.
Guests may help themselves to tea, herbal teas, and coffee at all times from the dining room side board.
Lough Key House loves to offer weekend-away packages for families or friends who want to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, hen-party, retirement party, golf or hillwalking w/e away, photography club or art class group, small class reunion etc etc.
We offer the house for your party's exclusive use. We provide dinner and one or two nights B&B as you require. The house sleeps 12 (comfortably) to 16 (with children at a squeeze!)
Dinner is a 5 course set menu using our own garden produce and locally sourced meats
You are welcome to bring your own wines and use the wine fridge in the dining room,we also provide ice and glasses and a piano,guitar,Tom-toms, harmonica ...!
